Diet

Sugar gliders are very dependant on fruit and vegetables. As the name suggest, a portion of their diet is made up of fructose, but they also need a lot of protein, especially during mating season,which they get from eating insects.

When winter comes, and insects go, they feed on acacia gum, eucalyptus sap and other nectars.
